Turin's Attractions
Things to do in Turin, a brief overview of the city
Turin was the first capital of modern day Italy. Elegantly aristocratic, it is one of the country’s most up-and-coming tourist destinations. With its impressive Alpine backdrop, the world-famous architect Le Corbusier regarded it as “the city with the most beautiful natural location in the world”.
Also known as the European capital of Baroque, Turin is an atypical Italian city. Many of its sites betray a clear French influence, such as its old-world cafés and grand boulevards, its world-class buildings and museums, and its leafy parks along the River Po.
However, not everyone knows that Turin is also a city teeming with magic. As the Italian capital of the occult, it is part both of the white magic triangle, along with Lyon and Prague, and of the black magic triangle, along with London and San Francisco.
