Unmissable Exhibitions in Turin: Autumn-Winter 2026

When the colors of autumn and the first whispers of winter embrace Turin's historic porticoes and grand avenues, the city drapes itself in a unique charm, vibrant yet quiet at the same time. It is the season when the spotlight shines on major international autumn events: from the days dedicated to contemporary art with the Torino Art Week fairs, to the great world tennis challenges of the Nitto ATP Finals, up to the screenings of the celebrated Torino Film Festival. Within this context, cultural vibrancy continues to unfold in museums and art galleries, which transform for the winter into spaces of pure reflection and discovery through major monographic exhibitions, rare dialogues, and silent avant-gardes.

For guests of DUPARC, this inclination towards mindfulness and attention to detail finds a natural resonance in the hotel. Our spacious suites, conceived with a linear and sophisticated design, are designed to embrace the relaxed pace of the season, offering a sanctuary of stillness where the emotions experienced in the city can gently settle. We invite you to discover the unmissable events of this autumn-winter season: a curated selection for those who, even when traveling, seek the luxury of time, inspiration, and the most authentic beauty.

Must-See Exhibitions in Turin, Autumn and Winter 2026

Marisa Merz – La danza delle ore

Castello di Rivoli, Fondazione Merz, GAM

From October 29, 2026, to April 4, 2027

An exceptional exhibition in three acts brings together the region's leading contemporary art institutions to celebrate the centenary of the birth of one of the most extraordinary figures on the international scene. Through a collection of intimate and partly unseen works, the journey explores the continuous evolution of an ever-open body of work, where the everyday becomes a creative dimension and the home is transformed into an alchemical laboratory capable of redefining the notion of physical and metaphysical space.

Fan Ho. The Master of Hong Kong Photography

Historical Apartments of Palazzo Barolo

From September 11, 2026, to January 10, 2027

The fascinating spaces of Palazzo Barolo host an anthological exhibition, unprecedented in Italy, celebrating the "Cartier-Bresson of the East." One hundred photographs, predominantly in black and white, reveal the metropolis of Hong Kong between the 1950s and 1960s, turning its bustling streets into meditative paintings. Fan Ho's style enchants with its geometric and minimalist rigor, where the masterful use of chiaroscuro and backlighting brings out solitary silhouettes and abstract textures from the shadows, offering a perfect balance between realism, human poetry, and a near-musical rhythm.

Letizia Battaglia & Davide Tranchina

CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia

From October 15, 2026, to February 7, 2027

CAMERA's spaces present a double feature of great intensity. On one side, the major exhibition co-produced with the Jeu de Paume dedicated to Letizia Battaglia: a journey through over 200 images and historical documents that reflect the photographer's courageous civil commitment and her ability to capture the profound soul of Sicily, between light and shadow. On the other, the Project Room hosts a retrospective on Davide Tranchina, which reviews twenty years of research into the ambiguity of the image and the boundary between analog and digital, enriched by an unreleased work conceived specifically for the occasion.

Alberto Savinio & Chris Ofili

Pinacoteca Agnelli

From October 30, 2026, to April 4, 2027

The spaces of the Lingotto are renewed with two projects of international scope: a major retrospective dedicated to Alberto Savinio, celebrating his revolutionary contribution to 20th-century art between classicism and a vision of the future, and Chris Ofili's new series of works, bringing his vibrant paintings balancing abstraction and figuration to Turin, placing them in a novel and suggestive dialogue with the museum's Permanent Collection.

Atelier dei moderni. Matisse, Braque, Picasso, Bacon

Reggia di Venaria Reale

From October 2, 2026, to February 14, 2027

A fascinating journey through European 20th-century painting, the result of a prestigious cultural dialogue with the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. The selection of works by absolute masters—including Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and Francis Bacon—highlights the aesthetic revolutions of the last century, moving with extraordinary creative freedom between the formal purity of color and the dramatic tensions of post-war art.

Exhibitions Closing This Autumn in Turin: Last Call for…

Harry Gruyaert. Retrospective & Werner Jeker. Photo Typo

CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia

Final months to discover great photography at CAMERA: the first Italian retrospective dedicated to Harry Gruyaert, a celebrated member of Magnum Photos and a pioneer of color as pure visual emotion, is joined in the Project Room by the world premiere of Werner Jeker, which celebrates the perfect geometric balance between photography and avant-garde typography in signature posters.

La Quarta Risonanza

GAM – Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea

Until November 1, 2026 | Last call for the major program transforming the museum into a laboratory of dialogues: from the over 600 works on paper of "Un altro Novecento," enriched by the contemporary interventions of Pesce Khete, to the process-oriented tribute for Giorgio Griffa's ninety years, and Lisetta Carmi's powerful photographic series placed in dialogue with 19th-century statuary.
