The main events of Torino Contemporary Art Week: the fairs
Artissima
The highlight of the week is Artissima, the pricipal contemporary art fair in Italy, held at Oval Lingotto. Galleries from all corners of the globe exhibit the works of their most representative artists, offering a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in the field. Artissima is not only a marketplace, but also a place to meet and exchange ideas, where professionals and enthusiasts meet and discuss the future of art. Furthermore, in recent years, Artissima has not been limited to the exhibition spaces but also permeates the city with its own external programming. Paratissima
For those seeking an alternative experience, Paratissima is the fair not to be missed. Held in the spaces of the Real Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri, Paratissima hosts young emerging artists and independent galleries, giving rise to a vibrant and nonconformist atmosphere. The installations, often site-specific, transform the spaces into genuine works of art, creating a unique and engaging exhibition itinerary.
Apart Fair - Art & Antiques
This fair stands out for its ability to foster dialogue between ancient art and contemporary influences, proposing a "journey across continents, through the centuries." Hosted at the Società Promotrice delle Belle Arti, in the heart of Parco del Valentino, Apart Fair celebrates the cultural melting pot and demonstrates how the beauty and value of works, from archaeology to the present day, are strongly contemporary, offering a selection of pieces guaranteed by FIMA Vetting.
Flashbak Art Fair
Flashbak Art Fair is an art fair with no space or time limits. It is held at Flashback Habitat, an independent art center, a shared house of cultures, a place for artistic research and experimentation. The fair is distinguished by its innovative approach that breaks traditional patterns, presenting an art scene that embraces different eras and expressive languages.
The Others Art Fair
The Others Art Fair is a contemporary art fair dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of emerging artists from around the world that is distinguished by its accessible and inclusive approach, which aims to make contemporary art accessible to a wide and diverse audience. It will be held in Turin at the ITCILO (International Training Centre of the ILO).
The main events of Torino Contemporary Art Week: beyond the fairs
Turin Art Week does not end at the fairs. Museums, galleries, public and private spaces host a plethora of exhibitions, installations and performances, offering a 360-degree art experience. Among the events not to be missed:
Luci d'Artista
Luci d'Artista are a series of artistic installations that transform the city into an open-air museum every year. They are inaugurated with the Art Week and remain lit for the entire winter season. Evocative luminous creations, designed by internationally renowned artists, illuminate the city with plays of light and colour, creating a unique and suggestive atmosphere. They can be admired free of charge, starting from the historic centre all the way to the outskirts.

Diffusissima
Diffusissima is a project that takes art to new levels of enjoyment and transforms the city into a widespread, vibrant, inclusive museum. The fuorisalone, to be held during art week, aims to bring contemporary art to city spaces, involving people in art-related but nontraditional events and transforming the fruition of the works into a POP moment, outside the traditional circuits.
C2C Festival
Club To Club Festival is an avant-pop and electronic music festival, among the most established in Europe, held annually in Turin in conjunction with Piedmont's Contemporary Art Week. It is not just a festival, but an immersive experience that engages the public in 360 degrees, with art installations, live performances, workshops and DJ sets taking place in various atmospheric locations around the city.
Have a great Art Week!
