Visiting an exhibition, or worse, a museum with children is always a bit of a gamble: boredom and tiredness are there lurking around the corner, along with crying and screaming. Visiting the Egyptian Museum in Turin with children, instead, is a sure-fire bet, and will leave you with wonderful memories - you can take my word as a mum for it!

If you are planning to visit the Egyptian Museum with the whole family, do not fret, it won’t be a traumatic experience. Far from it, it will be a wonderful surprise for everyone! The children can either explore the rooms on their own with you, or (and we highly recommend this) with a guided tour that is sure to meet everyone's expectations! Various types of tours are offered, but those for families are fun, interesting, packed with history and especially designed to capture the attention of children and quench their innate thirst for knowledge.

Modern museums, like the Egyptian Museum in Turin, consider users (not just adults, but especially children) their nerve centre, the starting point for a unique visitor experience. Not only facts and figures, therefore, but plays of light, such as on the top floor, and escalators flanked by colourful walls, to make sure the MUSEUM is experienced as a FRIENDLY place.

If you are planning to take the kids to the Egyptian Museum over the weekend and your children are under the age of six, you can surprise them by booking a workshop at Spazio ZeroSei Egizio.
